UK GDPR, GBP contracts and a security review that goes first
Data protection is agreed during design, not retrofitted. That means a documented lawful basis, a named data processing agreement, an explicit sub-processor list, agreed retention, and hosting in a UK or EU region where that is what the client needs.
Work is contracted and invoiced in pounds sterling. We are an Indian entity, so UK VAT is generally not charged on our invoices and the reverse-charge treatment applies for business customers — a point worth confirming with your accountant, but usually a simplification rather than a complication.
For fintech and any product handling financial data, a security review runs before launch rather than after, and we prepare the evidence a UK client’s own compliance or audit function will ask for.
Accessibility is built in rather than audited afterwards. Keyboard navigation, contrast, focus handling and screen-reader semantics are part of the component work from the start, because retrofitting them into a finished interface means rebuilding much of it.
The overlap that makes this workable
India is five and a half hours ahead of the UK, which is the friendliest gap of any market at this distance. From about 1:30pm to 6:00pm London time we are both working, so a blocking question raised at midday is answered before you finish for the day.
That effectively removes the main objection to distributed delivery. There is no overnight lag on decisions, no need to batch questions, and progress is visible on a staging environment rather than described in a status report.
The remaining gap is cultural rather than logistical, and it cuts in our favour. British clients tend to raise concerns indirectly, so we ask direct questions in writing and confirm what was agreed, which surfaces a reservation while it is still cheap to act on rather than at the end of a phase.
