Refund Policy

We assess refunds case by case against work delivered. This page explains what we weigh, what is not refundable, and how to raise a request.

Effective July 2026 · Tacklestudioz LLP

01The short version

We assess refund requests individually, against the work actually delivered at the point you ask. We do not operate a blanket no-refunds rule, and we do not promise unconditional refunds either. What follows is how we reach a decision.

02What this covers

This policy applies to professional services engagements — design, development, cloud and support work — agreed with us under a written scope. Where a signed proposal, statement of work or master services agreement sets out its own payment and cancellation terms, that document governs and this page is background only.

03How we assess a request

When you ask for a refund we look at:

  • What has been delivered and accepted, versus what remains outstanding.
  • Time and third-party costs already committed on your behalf — licences, infrastructure, subcontracted work.
  • Whether the request follows a failure on our side to deliver what was agreed, or a change in your circumstances.
  • Where in the milestone schedule the engagement stands.

04Where we have not delivered

If we have failed to deliver what the scope described, tell us. Our first remedy is to fix it — we will rework the deliverable at our cost within a reasonable time. If a defect cannot reasonably be remedied, we will refund the fees attributable to the affected deliverable.

05Where you cancel

You can end an engagement at any time in line with the notice terms in your scope. Fees for work completed and accepted, and for costs already committed on your behalf, are payable and are not refundable. Any prepaid amount not yet consumed is assessed on the basis above and refunded where fair.

06What is not refundable

  • Work already delivered and accepted by you.
  • Third-party costs we have already incurred on your behalf and cannot recover.
  • Time spent on discovery, research or advisory work, where that was the deliverable.
  • Taxes already remitted to the authorities.

07How to raise a request

Write to hello@tacklestudioz.tech with the engagement name, what you are asking for, and why. We will acknowledge within 5 business days and give you a reasoned decision within 15 business days.

Where a refund is agreed, we process it to the original payment method within 10 business days of that decision. Your bank or payment provider may take longer to post it.

08If you disagree with the outcome

If our decision does not resolve matters, the dispute process in our Terms of Service applies, including the governing law and jurisdiction set out there. If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, your statutory rights are unaffected by anything on this page.
